Ingredients
- 500 grams minced chicken
- 4 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- 2 spring onions (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded carrot
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 egg
- sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- In a bowl, mix the minced meat with garlic, ginger, spring onion, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, pepper, and carrot and onion.
- Roll out the pastry and cut into rectangles (approx. 10 x 12 cm).
- Place a log of meat mixture (about 1–2 tbsp) along one edge of each rectangle.
- Roll up tightly, seam side down, and seal the edge with a little egg wash.
- Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
